What this site does

AVNOTA organises publicly available title information — genre, cast, studio and release date — so that browsing and comparing is straightforward.

The name comes from "nota", the Latin and Italian word for a note or record. We do not host or stream anything; we simply keep the records you need in order to find something.

Three ways in

New releases — sorted by release date, so nothing slips past you.
Popular — a ranking based on views and ratings.
For you — your browsing history is stored in a cookie in your browser, and related titles are suggested from the genres and cast you look at most. No account required, and the history can be cleared at any time.

Reviews

Every title page shows the distribution of star ratings alongside written reviews. Low ratings are shown in the same place as high ones — the point is to convey what a title is actually like.

Languages

The site is available in 13 languages: Japanese, English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Russian, Thai, Vietnamese and Indonesian. Use the language switcher at the top right to move to the same page in another language.

Current status

This site is in preview. Some of the titles and reviews shown are sample data used to verify the site structure, and will be replaced with live data once the catalogue integration is complete.

How we are funded

AVNOTA is intended to be funded through affiliate programmes operated by adult video streaming services. Rankings and ratings are not adjusted according to commission.
